Biography

I was born in Gifu, Japan in 1990. I received the B.E. degree in 2012 and the M.S. degree in 2013 from Shizuoka University, Japan. In 2016, I also received Ph.D. degree from the Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, Osaka University, Japan. I am currently an assistant professor at the Graduate School of Science and Engineering, Ehime University since Jan. 2017. I was research fellow (PD) of Japan Society for the Promotion of Science in 2016. From 2014 to 2016, I was research fellow (DC1) of Japan Society for the Promotion of Science. From 2014 to 2015, I was an intern at Mitsubishi Electric Research Labs. (MERL) working with the Electronics and Communications group. I selected one of the Best Paper candidates in IEEE ICME (International Conference on Multimedia and Expo) 2012. My research interests are in the area of video compression and communications, with a focus on multi-view video coding and streaming over high and low quality networks.
